Martha believes every member must feel that their union represents them and find a place of belonging in their union.
Martha recognizes the valuable contributions and skills of all members within the union. She commits to identifying barriers and creating broad-based leadership opportunities for Black members, Francophone members, Indigenous members, LGBTQ2S members, racialized members, workers with disabilities, young workers, and women.
Martha promotes activism both within the union and the broader community. OSSTF/FEESO’s struggle for justice, respect, and dignity cannot be limited to pushing the government for legislative changes. Martha is committed to systemic change to ensure OSSTF/FEESO is a welcoming and inclusive union environment for members at all levels of the organization.
